Van Otis Chocolates Welcomes Guests December 1-2 for Annual Event
Van Otis Chocolates is opening its doors on Saturday December 1st and Sunday December 2nd from 9 AM to 3 PM for a series of holiday candy cane demonstrations at 341 Elm Street. These 45-minute demonstrations will take place on the hour, every hour, for a total of 7 demonstrations each day.
Up to 40 customers per hour will be welcomed into the Van Otis factory to watch the experienced Van Otis candy makers handcraft candy canes the old-fashioned way. At the end of the demonstration, customers will be handed one sample piece, ready to be given their final touch.
This event is suitable for candy lovers of all ages. In addition, a large Santa made of delicious milk chocolate will be raffled off in the store.
The price for each participant is $5. Half of the proceeds will benefit Easterseals of New Hampshire. The cost of admission entitles all guests to one candy cane each as well as admittance to one demonstration. If they would like to take part in another demo, tickets may be purchased downstairs in the retail store if available.
